Scarface 1983 movie is based on an illegal immigrant from Cuba.

Tony is one of the many Cubans on the Mariel Boatlift to Miami. When he gets there, he is questioned by U.S. officials. There were prisoners in Cuba that were taken to a prison in Miami. The Cubans were held in the prison because they were look at as immigrants. Tony and his sidekick Manny are sent to "Freedomtown," a refugee camp that holds Cuban immigrants without green cards. After one month in the camp, Frank Lopez, head of a Miami drug cartel, offers to obtain them green cards in return for murdering Emilio Rebenga. Tony kills Rebenga by stabbing him. Tony and Manny are granted green cards and released, and the two get jobs as dishwashers for a small food stand in Little Havana. Little Havana is in Miami, Florida, United States. Months later Tony is connected back with his sister and mom. Tony mother warns Gina to stay away from Tony because she knows that he is a bad person. Tony wants to make an effort to be in Gina's life regardless. As Tony and Manny leave Tony’s mother house Manny tells Tony that Gina is beautiful and Tony warns him to stay away from her. Tony is very over protective when it comes to his sister.
